We're proud to mention that the Centerville Library has recently been selected by the American Library Journal as a five star Library! Centerville has Ten Churches and many organizations who call Centerville home, including the American Legion & Auxiliary, Rotary and the Centerville Area Foundation, which was created to establish a permanent means of funding for projects andi mportant needs in the Centerville Community.
Our area Businesses include the First Midwest Bank, the Total Stop Food Store and almost everything a small town needs. And when you're ready to take a break, Peder Larsen Park offers plenty of family activities to enjoy. The Stan Schmiedt Athletic Complex has a football field and paved running track and serves as a training center for all school sports. Nearby Pascale Field has two baseball diamonds. Centerville also boasts an outstanding museum maintained by longtime resident Sherree Schmiedt.
